Yields Fall on Five-Year Treasury notes : The average yield was 7.51%, down from 7.62% at the last auction Jan. 24, which also was the first for five-year notes. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 7.50%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,995.90. A total of $9.04 billion in notes was sold out of bids totaling $29.19 billion.
