ICN Pharmaceuticals: The Costa Mesa company reported a $9-million loss for the fourth quarter of 1990, down sharply from an $85.7-million loss in the 1989 quarter. Revenue jumped 36% to $75.5 million. For the year, ICN lost $22.4 million versus an $81.9-million loss in 1989; revenue jumped 47% to a record $272 million. The company blamed its losses primarily on overseas debt payments, which it said were exacerbated by unfavorable foreign currency exchange rates.
