A 10-year-old Camarillo boy suffered major injuries when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car, authorities said Monday.
Eric Oquist was listed in serious condition in the intensive care unit at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Eric was riding across Dwight Avenue in Camarillo when he was struck by a car traveling south about 2:50 p.m. Sunday, Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Chet Williams said. The driver, Sonia Aceves, 25, of Camarillo was not injured, Williams said.
The investigation is continuing, authorities said.
