Fairmont Hotel Management Co., San Francisco, appointed Robert Small, executive vice president for Walt Disney Co.’s world resort division, to the post of president and chief executive of the hotel group. Small succeeds Richard Swig, who assumes the position of board chairman held by his brother, Melvin Swig. Melvin Swig will become vice chairman.
