Four Hearings Set on Update of Clean Air Plan

The South Coast Air Quality Management District has scheduled four public hearings on a proposed update of its clean air plan. The update must be adopted by the end of June. Two hearings are scheduled Monday, one at 10 a.m. at the Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting room at 4080 Lemon St. in Riverside, and another at 4 p.m. in the Orange County Board hearing room at 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana.
On Tuesday, a hearing is scheduled at 4 p.m. in McCandless Auditorium at the AQMD Headquarters, 9150 Flair Drive in El Monte. The fourth hearing is set Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors hearing chambers, 385 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino. An additional hearing will be held in June, when the district board is expected to approve a final plan.
