Movie director Blake Edwards’ 75-foot yacht Mariah sprang a leak 20 miles offshore but safely returned to port after the Coast Guard airlifted a pump to the vessel, authorities reported. Edwards, who directed the “Pink Panther” movies, was not aboard. After the yacht was pumped out, it made its way to Port San Luis near San Luis Obispo. Four crew members were aboard the $1.1-million vessel.
