ON BROADWAY: Garden Grove-bred singer James Intveld will headline the first Rockabilly Jamboree at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City next week to celebrate the hybrid of country and rhythm-and-blues styles. . . . Intveld’s Rockin’ Shadows band helped spark a local rockabilly revival in the early 1980s. His brother, Rick, who left the band to join Rick Nelson’s touring group, was killed in the 1985 plane crash that also took Nelson’s life.
