Three assistant football coaches at The Citadel have been reprimanded by the school for violating an NCAA recruiting rule, Athletic Director Walt Nadzak said.
The three attended the Sertoma Classic at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, S.C., last Saturday night. Their presence violated NCAA rules prohibiting coaches from evaluating high school prospects outside designated evaluation periods.
