Cal Lutheran University will relocate its Ventura Graduate Center from Valentine Road to a larger facility in Oxnard at the end of November, a university spokeswoman said.
The new facility, a 120,000-square-foot building in the Sammis Business Center at 2051 Solar Drive, will serve approximately 600 students, said Jean Sandlin, Cal Lutheran director of public information.
The center, headed by Robert Amenta, dean of graduate studies and continuing education, will include eight classrooms, up from five at the Ventura location, and additional offices, meeting rooms and extra parking spaces, Sandlin said.
Cal Lutheran offers graduate degree classes in business administration and education, she said.
The classes will resume at the Oxnard facility after the Thanksgiving recess, which ends Dec. 2.
