Making History a Breeze

A replica of the brig Pilgrim, immortalized by Richard Henry Dana in “Two Years Before the Mast,” is docked at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum through Friday. Reconstructed for $450,000, the Pilgrim hosts numerous activities, including a summer theater and a living history program for children. An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday at Berth 84. The Orange County Marine Institute requests a $3 donation.
