SAN CLEMENTE : Applicants Sought for Board Vacancies

City officials are taking applications to fill six positions on the Beaches, Parks and Recreation and Planning commissions and the Golf Course Committee.
Selected candidates will serve until June 30, 1993.
Three candidates will be selected for openings on the Beaches, Parks and Recreation Commission, created by the expired terms of Commissioners Eveyln Fernadez and Jennifer Blake and the resignation of Commissioner Robert Magnuson. The positions pay $30 per meeting.
Three candidates will be selected for openings on the Planning Commission, created by the expired terms of Commissioners Howard Revie and John Tengdrin and the resignation of Commissioner Robert Hamilton. The positions pay $60 per meeting.
Three candidates will also be selected for openings on the Golf Course Committee, created by expired terms of members Mary Beth Crispino, Tom Padberg and Lorna Henricks. The positions pay $30 per meeting.
All applications must be turned in at the city clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. Thursday. The City Council will be interviewing and selecting candidates Oct. 9.
