John Smith of Stillwater, Okla., won his fifth consecutive title, beating Giovanni Schillaci of Italy, 8-1, in the final of the 138.5-pound class at the world freestyle championships at Varna, Bulgaria.
Zeke Jones of Bloomsburg, Pa., beat Valentin Jordanov of Bulgaria, 8-3, to win the 113.5-pound title. Kenny Monday of Stillwater lost the 163-pound final, 3-1, to Amir Khadem of Iran.
