COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Golden West Stays Unbeaten in Water Polo

Golden West’s water polo team remained unbeaten this season with a 24-7 victory over Cerritos in a South Coast Conference game Wednesday at Cerritos.
Morgan Courtney had five goals and Correy Delahunt added four for Golden West (15-0, 3-0 in conference), the top-ranked team in the state and two-time defending state champions.
In Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball:
Orange Coast 3, Rancho Santiago 0--Kris Clemens had 13 kills as Orange Coast (5-1, 1-0) won its conference opener at home, 15-3, 15-6, 15-5.
Saddleback 3, Fullerton 1--Freshman Elaine Kollias had 13 kills, 21 assists and seven aces for Saddleback (3-1, 1-0) in a conference opener at Saddleback College. Fullerton is 5-3, 0-1.
