Man Slain in Alpine

Two suspects were taken into custody in connection with the stabbing death of a man in Alpine Monday afternoon, sheriff’s deputies said.
The slaying occurred about 4:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Tavern Road, deputies said. The identities of the three men involved were not released, and no details of the incident were released.
