‘Family’ Meeting: In the wake of Redd Foxx’s death on Oct. 11, CBS and Paramount have been holding closed-door meetings with the producers of the “The Royal Family” to determine the future of the CBS sitcom that co-starred Foxx and Della Reese. Apparently, Foxx’s role as a crotchety old retiree will not be re-cast, but a new role may be created for another comedic actor.
