LANDMARK ADIEU: The Skate Ranch in Santa Ana, which closes Thursday to make way for the widening of the I-5 Freeway (B1), has been a training ground for seven world champions. Among them are the current title holders in the pairs competition: Larry McGrue, 22, of Santa Ana and Tina Jerue, 20, of Corona. The pair won a gold medal at the Pan Am Games in Cuba in August. Last week, they won their third world title at the World Artistic Roller Skating Championships in Sydney, Australia.
