FULLERTON : General Plan Update Meetings to Begin
- Share via
The city’s transportation and circulation commission will hold the first in a series of workshops Monday to select issues city officials should consider as it updates its General Plan.
The meeting, which will focus on traffic-related issues, will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.
Residents have already recommended that the General Plan take into account open space, affordable housing, traffic congestion, recreational facilities and crime prevention.
State law requires that cities revise their general plans to keep pace with development. The city last updated its plan in 1981.
