Record Cocaine Seizure

MANAGUA, Nicaragua — Police seized more than 1,500 pounds of cocaine apparently headed for the United States in Nicaragua’s largest drug seizure on record, police said Monday.
The drug apparently arrived in Nicaragua overland and came from Colombia’s Cali Cartel, said the head of criminal investigations, Cmdr. Roger Mayorga.
