Youths Rally and Rap Against Drugs, Gangs

The anti-gang and anti-drug rally Saturday afternoon at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Long Beach was sponsored by the city Parks and Recreation Department and presented by Set Free Ministries from Anaheim.
Two sponsors with the visiting youth group are Jacqueline Leon, left, a former Long Beach resident, and Elnetta Roundtree. Speakers at the youth rally were Long Beach Councilman Clarence Smith, Pastor Phil Aguilar of Set Free Ministries and L.G. Chaddick of the California Southern Baptist Convention.
