Home, at Last: The ashes of Ignace Jan Paderewski, the pianist and former prime minister of Poland, will be returned to Poland for burial on May 1 after years of wrangling, the PAP news agency reported Wednesday. Paderewski died in the United States in 1941 while Poland was occupied by Nazi Germany and his ashes have been at Arlington National Cemetery outside Washington.
