Norwalk Councilman Bob White, who suffered a stroke at his home Dec. 10, is undergoing physical therapy at a Long Beach rehabilitation center, a family member said Wednesday.
White, 72, is receiving physical therapy daily and seems to be recovering some of the mobility he lost on the right side of his body, said his brother, Bill, a member of the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Board of Education.
Bob White has served on the City Council since 1968. His term is due to expire in April, and city officials said they do not know if he will seek reelection. The deadline for filing for candidacy is Feb. 6.
