Anaheim Woman Killed, 2 Hurt in Car Collision
ANAHEIM — Police are investigating a traffic collision in which a 71-year-old Anaheim woman was killed and two other people were injured.
Patricia Anne Maray was pronounced dead at the Martin Luther Hospital emergency room after the 11:28 a.m. collision Saturday, Police Sgt. Harold Parkison said.
Maray was a passenger in an automobile driven by Fern Elizabeth Maray, 68, also a resident of Anaheim, police said. Police did not know if the women were related. Fern Maray attempted to make a left turn from eastbound La Palma Avenue onto Romneya Drive and was struck by a car driven by Feliberto Espinosa Nunez, 38, of Anaheim. Nunez attempted to stop but struck the right front door of Maray’s vehicle, police said.
Fern Maray was taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital where she is in stable condition. Nunez was treated at the scene.
There were no arrests or citations.
