“A Fundamental Education” reminded me of the many things I was taught, and believed, while attending a fundamentalist Christian school. We were taught that the Earth was flat because the Bible refers to its having four corners. Pi was equal to 3 because the Bible says so.
What is being given children like the Steckers is not education, it is indoctrination, brainwashing. If these were non-Christians, these fundamentalist home schoolers would be called a cult.
