So Neil Peterson and the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission “got religion.” They should “get time” for their spending practices. What kind of government department is run with such financial carelessness and blatant disregard for these economic hard times? What kind of county government allows for this lack of accountability?
With the money the LACTC squandered, the staff could have picked up all the L.A. County commuters (in the 81 leased cars), driven them to work--and provided doughnuts!
