California Amplifier Earns $627,000 for 4th Quarter
California Amplifier Inc., a Camarillo supplier of components for home satellite dishes and wireless cable systems, reported a profit in its fiscal fourth quarter, following a year-earlier loss, while sales more than doubled due to growing exports of the company’s products.
In its fourth quarter ended Feb. 29, California Amplifier earned $627,000, in contrast with a $138,000 loss a year earlier. Sales surged to $6.9 million from $2.96 million.
California Amplifier’s full-year profit was $1.58 million; in the previous year it lost $508,000. Sales totaled $20.6 million, up 82% from $11.4 million.
