Rexhall Reports Loss of $1.1 Million in Quarter
Rexhall Industries Inc., a Saugus-based motor-home producer that has been hurt by the recession, reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.1 million compared with a year-earlier loss of $601,000.
The company said the latest loss came despite a 10% increase in sales in the quarter that ended Dec. 31, to $4.38 million from $4 million a year earlier.
For all of 1991, Rexhall lost $1.15 million, compared with earnings of $701,000 the previous year, and its annual sales suffered a 35% drop to $25.9 million from $39.6 million.
