Law Firm Will Appeal $2.7-Million Verdict: The Los Angeles firm of Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger said it expects to appeal last week’s award by a Los Angeles Superior Court jury in the malpractice suit brought by Pine Top Insurance, a London firm. Pine Top said the firm’s actions in a 1986 suit constituted “an egregious breach of fiduciary duty and a fraud.”
