Hasbro Inc. reported a 14% increase in first-quarter earnings, saying its new Parker Bros. and Kenner divisions had exceptional results.
The nation’s largest toy maker reported earnings of $23.4 million, or 26 cents per share, on revenue of $452.6 million. That compared to earnings of $20.5 million, or 24 cents per share, on revenue of $306.6 million in the same period a year ago.
