Interco Drops Suit Against Wall Street Adviser: Interco Inc. has agreed to drop an $89.5-million lawsuit against its former Wall Street adviser in return for an $18.25-million cash payment. Under last week’s settlement, which must still be approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Interco will drop the lawsuit filed in January, 1991, against Wasserstein, Perella & Co. It also releases Wasserstein from future claims Interco might make in its restructuring.
