Motorist Killed in Otay Mesa Crash

A 55-year-old man was killed when his car crossed the center line on Otay Mesa Road and was hit broadside by an oncoming car, police said Sunday.
San Diego police said Juan Jose Orozco of Chula Vista was westbound on Otay Mesa Road, also known as California 905, at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday when his car veered diagonally across the highway.
Orozco, the lone occupant of his car, died at the scene. The four occupants of the other vehicle, who were not identified, were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, police said.
The accident occurred on Otay Mesa Road near Heritage Road.
