President Bush on the Rioting

Rather than going to Los Angeles to tour the riot area, couldn’t President Bush have been more helpful by staying in Washington to host a fund-raising dinner for the benefit of riot victims? Surely his friends who gave over $9 million to the Republican Party would be happy to do as much to ease human suffering.
