Placement of Campaign Signs

It is against the law to post political campaign signs on utility poles. I don’t know if it’s against the law to affix signs to the guide wires which help support the poles, but it is certainly against the spirit of the law.
Throughout Hacienda Heights, there are signs posted by City Council hopefuls on the guide wires of telephone poles.
One must wonder why we need a city which will be run by individuals who are already bending the law for their own interest.
