SAN DIEGO : 2nd Suspect in Girl’s Slaying Arrested
La Mesa police have arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of Tameka Henderson, a 17-year-old Grossmont High School senior. Henderson was shot in the face on Wednesday after leaving the photography studio where she worked.
Aaron Sylvester Hill, 19, was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday at his San Diego residence on the 200 block of 47th Street. He was charged with homicide and booked in the downtown County Jail. Lt. Al Joslyn said Hill was one of two suspects inside a vehicle that was seen leaving the scene after the shooting.
Henderson’s former boyfriend, Alex Love II, was arrested Friday in San Diego at his home on the 500 block of 43rd Street and also charged with homicide. La Mesa police said that Love was the other suspect in the getaway vehicle. However, Joslyn said that homicide investigators have not revealed whether Love or Hill fired the fatal shot that killed Henderson.
