The Chicago Blackhawks withdrew permission for the Kings to talk to their associate coach, Darryl Sutter, about becoming head coach in Los Angeles.
Mike Keenan, the Blackhawks’ general manager and coach, called Rogie Vachon, the Kings’ general manager, to withdraw the permission he had granted on Sunday night.
