Los Altos Senior Wins UPS Scholarship
Sandra Mares, a senior at Los Altos High School, recently won the George D. Smith Scholarship, presented by the UPS Foundation to qualifying children of employees who plan to enter vocational, technical or two-year college programs.
Mares, 18, of Hacienda Heights will attend Valley Vocational Cosmetology School.
