‘Batman’ Too: While moviegoers were packing into theaters around Los Angeles on Friday night, there was an alternative offering at the Nuart in Westwood where Batfans lined up for a live theatrical production of the 1966 cult movie “Batman.” The improv group L.A. Connection provided live sound effects and irreverent dialogue while the feature played on the screen. The film’s Catwoman, Lee Meriwether, and its director, Leslie H. Martinson, were on hand for the occasion.
