Spelling Bee: Bart Simpson will set Vice President Dan Quayle straight on the spelling of potato at the beginning of Thursday’s episode of “The Simpsons” on Fox TV. The show is a repeat, but a new bit at the opening will find Bart at his blackboard writing over and over, “potato not potatoe.” Last week, the vice president incorrectly prompted a 12-year-old student in New Jersey to add an “e” after the youngster wrote potato on a blackboard. The show airs at 8 p.m. on KTTV Channel 11.
