HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Saturday is Independence Day, the 216th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, but many institutions will be observing the holiday today:
Closed: Federal government offices, federal and county courts, stock and commodity exchanges and libraries.
Open: Most post offices, but some will have reduced hours and a few will be closed. Regular business and residential mail will be delivered.
Many banks will be open today; but those that usually are open Saturday will be closed.
The RTD will maintain its regular Friday schedule.
