Looking Ahead: A summer, 1993, season of chamber music, theater, opera and dance at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre is one of the plans on the agenda of Laura Zucker, newly appointed executive director of the Los Angeles County Music and Performing Arts Commission. Zucker, who assumed the post July 15, founded the Back Alley Theatre in Van Nuys with her actor-husband, Allan Miller, in 1974, and most recently was executive director of the Ventura Arts Council. In her new post, she will oversee all major commission programs, including three grant programs that distribute more than $1.2 million to arts organizations.
