GRANADA HILLS : Driver Arrested After Fatal Crash
A North Hills man was arrested on manslaughter charges after the car he was driving went through a red light early Thursday and struck and killed another motorist, police said.
Andrew Graczyk, 29, drove into the intersection of Louise Avenue and Plummer Street in Granada Hills about 40 m.p.h. and hit a vehicle driven by Roxanne Godden, 42, of North Hills, said Police Officer Carl Helm.
Godden was killed instantly after the car slammed into a curb and flipped, Helm said. Godden’s husband, who was in the car, was treated at Northridge Hospital Medical Center for minor injuries and released. Graczyk was treated at Granada Hills Community Hospital for lacerations and released.
