RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA : Commission OKs Plans for School
The County Planning Commission this week approved plans to build a new elementary school in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
The school, to be called Trabuco Highlands, will be built on Lindsay Drive in the Robinson Ranch area, according to Mary Lou Smith, facilities planning director for the school district.
Construction may begin as early as September, with completion expected in time for the 1993-94 school year. The new school will accommodate 900 students from the Rancho Santa Margarita, Trabuco Mesa and Cielo Vista areas, Smith said.
The new school is being funded through local taxes, Smith said.
