Let me see if I understand this: The country is awash in red ink, interest rates are extremely low, the unemployment rate is high, we’re in a severe and protracted recession, and we have enormous deficits and a trade imbalance while at the same time national and state governments are slashing services to the bone.
And Bush promises to lower taxes?
