Lockheed Gets Hubble Telescope Contracts: Lockheed Corp., a principal designer of NASA’s trouble-plagued Hubble Space Telescope, has won $267 million in contracts to maintain, service and help repair the Earth-orbiting observatory. Under a $147-million contract, Lockheed will help fix the telescope during a space shuttle mission that had been scheduled for December, 1993, but is expected to be delayed until 1994. Lockheed will continue to provide maintenance and service for the Hubble under the other contract, worth $120 million.
