Quake Kills One in Iran

NICOSIA, Cyprus — A strong earthquake shook the southern Iranian province of Fars on Tuesday, killing at least one person and injuring 11 others, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported. IRNA said the quake was centered about 70 miles south of the provincial capital of Shiraz.
