STATE OF DISARRAY
Why not abolish the Legislature altogether? Modern technology makes it possible to cast votes directly, by telephone. We could save ourselves the millions those do-nothing politicians receive in salaries, per-diems and perks, and the millions they squander by overpaying for services. We might also manage to hang onto our jobs, instead of losing them, and afford better educations for our youth.
