Dale Mitchell headed in a crossing pass from Alex Bunbury in the 53rd minute to give Canada a 1-0 victory over Jamaica in a World Cup regional qualifying match at Toronto.
It was Canada’s first victory in the four-team tournament after two ties last month at Jamaica and El Salvador. Canada is in first place with 4 points, one ahead of El Salvador and Bermuda.
