The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1:
Glendale
Las Palmas Avenue, 3300 block--Two TVs valued at $1,080 were stolen from a school on Oct. 26.
North Central Avenue, 100 block--Burglars cut a hole in the roof of a store and stole leather jackets, shirts and boots, valued at $17,160, at 3:50 a.m. Oct. 27.
Old Phillips Road, 1100 block--An unlocked house under construction was burglarized Oct. 28 or 29. Power tools, valued at more than $1,750, were stolen.
North Central Avenue, 600 block--A woman that she was robbed of her purse containing $300 cash as she stood in a parking lot at 12:05 p.m. Oct. 29.
School Street and Olmstead Drive--Three men were arrested on suspicion of committing house burglaries after police found jewelry in their possession at 1:25 p.m. Oct. 29.
Fairfield Street, 1400 block--A house was ransacked and burglarized between 9 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 30. Jewelry valued at more than $400 was reported stolen.
San Fernando Road, 6500 block--A woman was arrested for investigation of child neglect at 10:15 p.m. Oct. 30, after police found her 4-year-old son playing with a cigarette lighter in her car while she was in a nearby bar drinking.
North Pacific Avenue, 1000 block--Thieves pried open a storage shed next to a food store and stole 60 bottles of vodka, valued at $600, on Oct. 30 or 31.
Harvey Drive, 300 block--A man reported that while he was at a restaurant between 7 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 31, thieves stole three tires and wheels, valued at $1,140, from his car.
North Jackson Street--A cab driver who followed a woman into her apartment to collect cab fare at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 31 was arrested for investigation of sexual assault after the woman reported that he tried to force her to orally copulate him.
West Lomita Avenue, 300 block--A woman walking on the street at 4:20 a.m. was forcibly dragged behind an apartment building by a man who attempted to rape her. Police later arrested a suspect.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 1700 block--Burglars pried open the door of a doughnut shop and stole appliances and money, valued at $6,960, shortly after 4 a.m. Oct. 27.
Kipling Avenue, 1200 block--A man with a gun robbed a man of money and jewelry, valued at $440, at 8 p.m. Oct. 27.
Vincent Avenue, 4700 block--A small firebomb ignited the front porch and door of a house at 1 a.m. Oct. 27. There were no injuries.
Hill Drive, 1500 block--A man entered a woman’s house at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28 and attempted to rape her before fleeing.
Yosemite Drive, 1700 block--A school plant management officer was robbed at gunpoint of money and jewelry, valued at $640, by two men at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 29.
Round Top Drive, 4700 block--A man in his garage was robbed at gunpoint of $400 cash at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 29.
Escarpa Drive, 1900 block--A gunman ordered a man inside his house and robbed him of $120 cash at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 30.
Linda Rosa Avenue, 1300 block--A stereo and camera equipment, valued at $1,650, were stolen from an apartment between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 30.
Colorado Boulevard, 1500 block--A waitress at a restaurant was robbed at gunpoint of $310 at 6:20 a.m. Oct. 31.
College View Avenue, 5000 block--A man with a gun robbed a woman in her driveway of $80 cash at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1.
Echo Park
Everett Street, 900 block--Three men robbed a man on the street at gunpoint of $750 and his car at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 27.
Park Drive, 1800 block--Thieves removed the doorknob of an apartment, then stole jewelry valued at $5,000 between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29.
Glendale Boulevard, 1400 block--Two men with a knife robbed a woman of a gold chain valued at $500 at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 30.
Glendale Boulevard, 1600 block--A market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $700 cash by two men at 10:15 p.m. Oct. 31.
Sunset Boulevard and Coronado Street--Two people at a bus stop were threatened by three men, then robbed of $80 cash at 11 p.m. Oct. 31.
Berkeley Avenue and Benton Way--A pedestrian was robbed of money and jewelry, valued at $195, by two men at 2 a.m. Nov. 1.
Highland Park
York Boulevard, 6400 block--Two men jumped the counter of a gas station, pushed the clerk to the floor and stole $80 cash at 4 p.m. Oct. 26.
Joy Street, 200 block--A man armed with a knife robbed a woman on the sidewalk of a purse and money valued at $20 at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
York Boulevard, 5200 block--Two men with a knife and a gun robbed a man on a sidewalk of jewelry, valued at $100, at 4:25 a.m. Oct. 28.
Ruby Street, 6400 block--Burglars pried off a rear door deadbolt of a house, ransacked it and stole money and jewelry, valued at $2,380, between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Oct. 29.
North Avenue 50, 100 block--While a man slept, burglars entered his home and stole money and video equipment, valued at $8,538, the morning of Oct. 30.
Los Feliz
Franklin Avenue, 4600 block--Thieves broke into a truck and stole carpeting, a camper shell, a stereo and a purse, valued at $2,150, between 12:15 a.m. and 7 a.m. Oct. 26.
Hollywood Boulevard and Vermont Avenue--A man hit a male pedestrian in the face, took $70 and fled in a waiting car at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
Lyman Place and La Mirada Avenue--A pedestrian was surrounded by two men carrying guns and robbed of $127 cash at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
Finley Avenue, 4800 block--Jewelry valued at $9,000 was stolen from a house between 9:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 27.
Finley Avenue, 4700 block--Cameras and a stereo, valued at $1,100, were stolen from an apartment at 7:50 p.m. Oct. 27.
Talmadge Street and Sunset Boulevard--Five men with a handgun robbed a man on the sidewalk at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 27 of money and jewelry, valued at $371.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 2900 block--Two men with knives robbed a person in a parking lot of $60 cash at 9 p.m. Oct. 29.
Waverly Drive, 2600 block--Burglars pried open a garage door and stole tools valued at $5,000 on Oct. 30 or 31.
Ettrick Street, 3100 block--A motorist was robbed at gunpoint of his vehicle by another man at 9 a.m. Nov. 1.
Silver Lake
Laclede Avenue, 3400 block--Thieves stole $844 cash from a house between 10 and 11 a.m. Oct. 26.
Marsh Street, 2800 block--A pedestrian was robbed at knifepoint of money and food valued at $40 at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 26.
Griffith Park Boulevard, 1700 block--Using a knife and a gun, two men robbed a man on the street of money and credit cards, valued at $60, at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 29.
Effie Street, 3600 block--Two men armed with an automatic sub-machine gun robbed a man in his apartment of $140 cash at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 29.
Fountain Avenue, 4400 block--Three men with a handgun robbed a man on the street of money and jewelry, valued at $790, at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 30.
Micheltorena Street, 1400 block--Jewelry and a TV, valued at $2,770, were stolen from an apartment the night of Oct. 31.
