MAI Systems Corp. Defaults on $77 Million in Debt

TUSTIN —  MAI Systems Corp., a struggling business computer software company, said it has defaulted on $77 million in debt. The company said its lenders refused to grant another extension on the debt beyond a Nov. 16 expiration date. The company said it intends to discuss rescheduling the debt repayment but could not make predictions about its prospects.
