SYLMAR : Renovation Planned for El Cariso Park

Los Angeles County plans to give El Cariso Community Regional Park in Sylmar a face lift.
The county, which opened bidding on the project Tuesday, intends to refurbish picnic shelters, tables and the outdoor kitchen at the hillside park. In addition, barbecues are to be replaced, athletic courts resurfaced and restrooms painted.
The work is expected to cost between $95,000 and $115,000 and take up to two months from the date a contractor is chosen.
El Cariso park is at 13100 Hubbard St.
