1991-92: 24-4-3, 11-0-1 in Sunset League; won the 4-A championship, beating Damien in the final.

Key returners: Kevin Coye, Sr., sweeper, county player of the year; Brian Engesser, Sr., fullback/midfielder, All-Southern Section pick; Brian Grace, Sr., goalkeeper; Scott Holmes, Sr., midfielder; Luana Lai, Jr., forward; Chad Lawson, Sr., forward; Brad Walker, Sr., forward/midfielder.

Key newcomers: Cesar Hernandez, Sr., midfielder; Scott Park, Sr., forward; Matt Wells, Jr., fullback/midfielder.

Outlook: The Seahawks are the defending 4-A champions and have the nucleus to repeat. But first they have to qualify for the playoffs. “Our league (is the) toughest in the county, maybe in the section, “ Kollar said. “We could have five or six teams among the county top 10.” Defense was the key to the Seahawks winning the title a year ago, and it will again be their strength. Coye, Engesser, Holmes and Walker are all college prospects.
